We collect information you provide during registration (full name, email address), your CA level and selected exam attempt, your usage data (topics revised, questions attempted, mock test scores, AI questions asked), and payment information (processed securely by Razorpay — we do not store card or UPI details).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to: provide and improve the Platform's services; personalise your revision and practice experience; track your progress, accuracy, and study streak; process payments and manage subscriptions; send important service updates and exam-related notifications; and analyse usage patterns to improve content quality and AI responses.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including secure authentication, encrypted HTTPS connections, and row-level security policies on all database tables. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. AI and Content Processing

When you use the AI Mentor or Ask AI feature on topic pages, your questions are processed by AI models (Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses. Your questions may be used to improve AI quality but are never shared publicly or with other users. AI responses are not a substitute for official ICAI study material or qualified professional guidance.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Platform to improve the product. You can control cookie settings in your browser preferences.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Razorpay (payment processing, governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy), our cloud backend provider (database and authentication infrastructure), and Anthropic Claude API (AI content generation). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling. We share only the minimum necessary data with each service.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your progress data; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, email support@caabhyas.ai. We will respond within 7 business days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users aged 16 and above (typically CA students who are in articleship or preparing for professional examinations). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a minor has registered, contact support@caabhyas.ai and we will promptly delete the account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
